In a game in which the Commanders turned the ball over 5 times, no player was more key to the victory than Jayden Daniels.

Running
Jayden Daniels had impressive stats for the game. He was, in fact, the team’s leading rusher, carrying the ball 9 times for 81 yards, including an incredible 30-yard scramble to convert 4th and 11.
So many big plays from Jayden Daniels today, but this incredible scramble in 4th-and-11 was huge

Passing
For the first time in his career, Jayden Daniels threw 5 touchdowns in a game — one to Terry McLaurin, two to Olamide Zaccheaus, and two more, including the game winner in the closing seconds of the 4th quarter, to Jamison Crowder.

Jayden completed 24-39 for 258 yards, 5 touchdowns, and a pair of interceptions as he targeted nine different receivers, finishing with a passer rating of 99.1 in an exciting win to move forward towards a playoff spot.

Perhaps most impressive was that everything that the Commanders offense did this week was achieved against the NFL’s #1 ranked defense. The Eagles had given up less than 20 points per game to opponents this season, but Washington put 36 points on the scoreboard on Sunday.
After sixteen weeks, the Commanders are 3rd in rushing yards, 5th in total yards and 4th in total points scored. The team is solidly in second place in the NFC East, and is currently positioned for the 7th seed in the NFC playoffs. These impressive achievements, coming in a rebuilding year in which the entire franchise was stripped down and rebuilt in a matter of months, are largely attributable to the high level of play and professionalism of Washington’s rookie quarterback, who is having an incredible season.
For my entire adult life, I’ve never spoke about this team in this way.

Kyle Brandt: We need people to see Jayden Daniels; he is the best thing going right now – the coolest, most fun, most astonishing thing. The best show, right now! It’s not the Vikings; it’s not the Chiefs – it is the Commanders offense, and the Commanders as a whole, and I have never said that in my life.
