Injury updates
The Washington Commanders held a Black Friday practice as they prepare to host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. RB Austin Ekeler and RT Andrew Wylie were ruled out after suffering concussions last week. Brian Robinson Jr suffered an ankle injury last week, but was a full participant in practice, and doesn’t have an injury designation for Sunday. Washington also re-signed RB Chris Rodriguez for depth along with Jeremy McNichols. Trent Scott replaced Wylie last week instead of veteran swing tackle Cornelius Lucas, and it will be interesting to see if Scott gets the start over Lucas this week.
Marshon Lattimore had his first practices with the team this week, but he’s been listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game. Dan Quinn said the team would evaluate him more today and tomorrow before making a decision on whether he’s healthy enough to make his debut for the team. Lattimore suffered a hamstring injury with the New Orleans Saints, before getting traded on Nov. 5th. His doubtful status makes a debut in New Orleans after their Week 14 bye look like the target date.
