Place your bets!
We’re waiting patiently for Saturday night’s playoff game between the Washington Commanders and the Detroit Lions in the divisional round. As a part of this weekend of playoff football, both college and pro, our friends at FanDuel are offering what they’re calling a “Playoff Payoff” promotion, where you can make a “no-sweat” same game parlay each day. If your bet should lose, you’ll receive your original bet back in bonus bets.
No-Sweat Token Details
All you have to do is log in to your account, claim your No-Sweat Token, build your 3+ Leg SGP with total odds of +100 or longer, toggle on your No-Sweat Token, and place your bet. If your bet loses, you will get a refund in Bonus Bets.
There are also No-Sweat Tokens for the National Championship Game featuring Notre Dame and Ohio State on Monday night and the two days of the NFL’s divisional round.
If I were a gambling man and wanted to test my luck by putting down a parlay bet on Sunday night’s game, here are the three bets that I would combine to make that happen.
Dyami: Anytime touchdown scorer (+370)
Dyami Brown had has best game as a pro vs the Buccaneers with 5 receptions, 89 yards and a touchdown. He has been great at break screens, and has always had the go ball ability. In Tampa that all came together to make his Washington’s most efficient receiver, and a reliable target in the end zone. Look for Brown to get more action in a high-scoring game against the Lions.
Jayden Daniels: Over 233.5 yards (-113)
Jayden Daniels averaged 237 yards passing in games that he started and finished this season. The Detroit Lions allowed 259 yards per game during the season, and will likely allow that again in an expected shootout with Washington’s high-scoring offense. Daniels threw for 268 yards and two TDs against the Bucs, and could top both of those numbers on Saturday night.
Frankie Luvu: Record a sack (+178)
I went with Luvu last week, and he didn’t get home for a sack on the elusive Baker Mayfield. Jared Goff was sacked 31 times(1.8/game), and has been playing behind a good offensive line. That will get tested Saturday night with RG Kevin Zeitler ruled out for the game. Rookie Christian Mahogany who had one start this season. Luvu has been used all over Washington’s defense, and has 8 sacks this season.
If you put these three bets together as a same game parlay, right now it will give you odds of +1651, meaning a $100 bet would get you a payout of $1651 ($1561 in profit). That’s a pretty good return, on a bet that has a decent chance to hit on Saturday night.
