The 2025 NFL combine kicks off next week in Indianapolis. While the on-field festivities don’t begin until Thursday, NFL teams will be in town all week, scheduling interviews with draft prospects.
The combine is also the unofficial beginning of the new league year. It’s where a lot of business begins. Teams meet with agents to discuss potential contract extensions and gauge interest in upcoming free agents who play on other teams. It’s also where we hear many NFL rumors, some of which come true when free agency begins next month.
The combine is also where we hear from the team’s decision-makers. While teams aren’t required to speak to the media, most do. When Adam Peters took over as general manager last year, and Dan Quinn as head coach, both spoke with reporters in Indianapolis at the combine.
That trend will continue at next week’s combine. Peters will speak to the media on Tuesday at Noon ET, and Quinn will take his turn on Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET.

You shouldn’t expect to hear Peters or Quinn reveal much of anything. They’ll likely be asked about free agency, particularly some of the team’s upcoming free agents, but will remain tight-lipped.
